Residents across Comet country have been getting in the Christmas spirit by decorating their houses.

James Creighton, who lives in Grove Road, Stevenage, has used around 10,000 bulbs for his festive display.

The 25-year-old is raising money for Cancer Research UK – to donate visit www.justgiving.com/xmas2013

Other houses lit up in Stevenage include John Daniels’ display in Woolners Way and Freda Marsh’s effort in Leaves Spring.

In Hitchin, a house in Meadowbank has gone all out, while Keith Reynolds’ display in Church Road, Willian, also caught our photographer’s eye.
