A further four arrests have been made after a closure order was breached at a bungalow in Letchworth.

The closure order – which was granted by Stevenage Magistrates’ Court on October 6 – stipulated that only the named tenant and her daughter were allowed inside the property in Southfields.

Sophie Nightingale, 21, of High Street in Arlesey, has been charged with breaching the closure order and is set to appear before Stevenage magistrates on November 29.

Joining her in court – with the same charges – is 18-year-old Natasha Nightingale, of Fishponds Road in Hitchin.

A 44-year-old woman and a 16-year-old girl were also arrested at the scene on suspicion of a Section 4 public order offence. They have been released under investigation while enquiries continue.

The same order was also breached on Friday, October 13, by 47-year-old Karl Smith – who will appear in court on November 15 – as well as Ashley Nightingale, 27, and Tamar Dulley, 20, who will both be in court on November 8.

Stevenage magistrates have now granted a full closure order at the address, meaning nobody is allowed to enter for three months.

Officers initially investigated the bungalow after numerous complaints were made by neighbours who stated that people were using the property in an anti-social manner and causing disturbance.
