After working up a sweat as temperatures reached 20°C in the shade, runners were able to cool off at a converted fire truck which was selling milkshakes, ice creams and other treats.

There was also a children’s bouncy castle, face painting and displays from Hitchin Judo Club, while The Buryhill Clinic offered up express massages to ease aching limbs.
