Winger confident Boro will see off Blades at Bramall Lane tonight

LUKE FREEMAN is in a confident mood going into tonight’s second-leg clash with Sheffield United and insists Boro will get the job done.

The Blades frustrated Gary Smith’s side during Friday night’s 0-0 draw, but the Boro winger says his side will revel in the extra space at Bramall Lane as the home side will be under pressure to attack more than they did at the Lamex.

“It was very frustrating. They made it hard for us. They came here and tried getting that result – it’s clear that’s what they went for,” Freeman told the Comet after the stalemate on Friday.

“Our pitch isn’t the biggest either and they made it tight and compact so it was a hard game to do anything, really. But we were unlucky as we hit the bar but it’s only half-time and we’re ready to take it to them on Monday.

“It will be a lot more open and it will be a better game because they’ve got to win just like we have. Hopefully we’ll be able to do to them what we did the other week.

“We need to do exactly the same but just hold on to the result this time. They didn’t really open us up last time but we just sat back and allowed them to pile on the pressure. But I think we’re gong to go there and hand it to them this time and I’m confident we’re going to do that.”
