Stevenage fans will no longer be able to park for free at Roaring Meg during midweek games at the Lamex.
For two seasons fans have been allowed to park at the retail park for free for midweek games, but now, due to ‘major ongoing refurbishment’ at Roaring Meg, that is no longer the case.
“Parking restrictions will therefore be in operation at Roaring Meg on all match days (including midweek games) from this month onwards,” a club statement said.
“Park rules restrict parking to 90 minutes on a match day, which come in to effect two hours before kick-off. Anyone exceeding this time limit could face a £100 fine.
“Football fans can still take advantage of free parking at Fairlands Valley, opposite the ground, for all matches.”
