FOUR men remain in hospital after a car struck a telegraph pole and then spun into a tree in Hitchin Road, Arlesey, in the earily hours of yesterday (Sunday) morning.
Six young people were taken to Lister Hospital and four remain there suffering from a number of injuries including a broken leg, shoulder injury, a head injury and back injury.
The female driver of the Volkswagen Golf, aged 18, and her front seat passenger were both released from hospital after treatment.
Police said the road was blocked for almost four hours and EDF Energy had to be called in after the telegraph pole brought down power lines.
