Four people were taken to hospital after two cars collided on a roundabout on the A507 leading to junction 10 of the A1 (M) on Saturday morning.
Two ambulance crews and a paramedic officer from Letchworth GC attended the incident at 8.16.
Ambulance service spokesman Gary Sanderson said: "Paramedics found a woman in her 50s with a head injury. A man and two children in the other vehicle were slightly injured. All four were taken to Lister Hospital for treatment.
