A man from Ickleford who ran the London Marathon dressed as a lobster is back in the suit tomorrow night when he appears on ITV’s Ninja Warrior UK.
Greg Trevelyan, 41, successfully applied for Ninja Warrior UK last summer, and you can see how he gets on when he’s on the show at 6.30pm tomorrow night.
He told the Comet: “I had a fantastic time doing it. The experience was just amazing – and I proved I wasn’t just a man in a lobster suit!
“I had no expectations – I’m a fairly fit guy but nowhere near as fit as some of the people there. I did it for a bit of fun, to see how far I could go – but the main thing was to enjoy it. It was incredible. And I think it’ll make good viewing as a lobster!”
Greg, who trained for Ninja Warrior UK while on holiday in Sicily, set a world record for fastest marathon dressed as a lobster back in 2016, when he completed the course in three hours and 17 minutes – but this time was beaten last year. He intends to reclaim the record in 2019.
Ninja Warrior UK is on ITV at 6.30pm each Saturday.
