There will be football, food and much more for some great causes in Hitchin this weekend.

The fun day on Saturday at St John’s Community Centre, off St John’s Road, is in aid of Garden House Hospice Care, support charity Little Miracles, the St John’s Community Association and FC St John’s.

The annual day has always been a popular success, and will this year include a ‘Community vs FC St John’s’ football match, a variety of stalls, a raffle, a bouncy castle, face-painting, a barbecue, disco and more.

The fun kicks off at 1.30pm, and kids’ charcters Trolls and PJ Masks will be making special guest appearances.

Carly Hewett from the organising team said: “We would like to say thank you to the volunteers who will be helping out on the day and who will be donating, or have done already.”

If you’d like to volunteer to help out on the day, email fcstjohns@hotmail.com.
