A food drive to help those in need will be held at Asda, on Monkswood Way in Stevenage, today (Saturday).
Volunteers from both the Stevenage and Knebworth food banks will be outside the supermarket taking donations from 10am-4pm.
Organiser Richard Wallce said: “The need for providing food shows no signs of abating. It is likely that there will be increased need for families during the coming summer school holidays.
“We are hoping that Asda customers will be as generous as they have been in the past and that they will continue to help the Food Bank provide for those families and individuals who have found themselves in sudden financial difficulty.”
