FLOWER clubs celebrated 60 years of Stevenage new town with a fantastic floral display recently.

Mavis Norris, left, show secretary of the South Stevenage Flower Club, is seen here with Ann Rodell who gained first prize in the growing and blooming category.

Visitors were treated to competitions, exhibitions and a display of floral art by clubs throughout Stevenage at the event held at Barclay School in Walkern Road.
