First Capital Connect trains are delayed after a vehicle crashed into a bridge.
National Rail announced delays of up to 20 minutes at 16.48pm on trains between Hitchin and Cambridge after a vehicle crashed into a bridge in Baldock.
The delays are affecting First Capital Connect trains that travel between London King’s Cross and Cambridge.
Baldock bridge examiners are en route to assess the damage to the bridge.
The line between Ashwell and Morden and Letchworth GC has now reopened but delays are expected while the service recovers.
