FIREFIGHTERS from Stevenage and Baldock were called to a lorry fire on the slip road at junction 10 southbound of the A1 (M) at Baldock Services this morning during rush hour.
The lorry was carrying rubbish and the fire was out just after 9am. Police did not have to close the motorway but attended the incident to keep traffic moving.
Hertfordshire Highways were also called to clear debris from the lorry that had fallen on to the road.
