FIRE crews tackled a blaze at a hotel last night (Wednesday).
Firefighters worked through the night after a fire broke out at Zeus Hotel and Restaurant, on Baldock High Street.
Crews were called at 11.45pm to reports of a fire on the second floor outside a bedroom.
The fire caused damage to the roof of the building.
Police officers were also called to the scene and fire engines from Welwyn GC, St Albans, Stevenage, Letchworth GC and Baldock attended.
At 12.45am the fire was under control and all guests were allowed back into the building, but crews stayed on site to dampen down until 4.30am this morning (Thursday).
The fire was accidental and there were no casualties.
