Firefighters called to car fire in Stevenage and garage fire in Letchworth

A car caught alight in a residential area of Stevenage yesterday morning and a garage caught on fire in Letchworth on Friday evening.

Firefighters were called to the car blaze at around 1.10am in Stirling Close, Bragbury End.

No one was injured in the fire which was extinguished within half an hour.

On Friday a fire crew were called just before 8pm to a garage which had caught on fire in Crossleys, Letchworth.

They spent two hours extinguishing it. At this stage it appears that no one was injured in this fire.
