A DISPUTE between a firefighters' union and Herts County Council has ended after three strikes.
Herts fire crews formally ended their industrial action over cuts and closures to the county's fire service.
Tony Smith, vice chairman of Herts FBU said: "There are mixed emotions because although our strike action managed to reverse or change the majority of the council's original proposals, we did not succeed in changing all of them. They remain hell-bent on closing Radlett and Bovingdon.
