Fire crews were called after an animal was stuck in a net.
At around 9pm last night Bedfordshire fire service were called by the RSPCA to help assist in the rescue of an otter in High Street, Arlesey.
One multi roll vehicle from Shefford attended but the animal released itself prior to the arrival of the fire crews.
