An insight into the life of a film extra will be given by Mr F Courtenay on Monday, Jan 9, to the First Garden City Ladies Group at The Settlement, starting at 2pm. Visitors always welcome - 50p admission (inc refreshments). The group meets on the second Monday of each month. Once, I was asked personally by Film Director Michael Kodak House) in Hemel Hempstead. Winner was filming part of a murder/mystery film located at a 'theatre', where a panto was being performed. Yes, you've guessed it - he wanted me to be half of the pantomime cow (yes that half!), so I respectfully turned him down and told him to ask an 'udder' colleague. It's fair to say that the offer didn't 'moove' me, but I could have 'milked' it.
