Two hotel guests have been taken to hospital with head and back injuries after getting into a fight in the early hours of this morning.
Police were called to Day’s Inn, at Baldock Services off Junction 10 of the A1(M), at 4.55am after reports that two men staying at the hotel were arguing.
This became a physical fight in which both men were injured to the extent that two ambulance crews and a Magpas response car were despatched to the scene.
One man had suffered scolding burns to his back, while the other had a head injury.
Both were taken to Stevenage’s Lister Hospital for treatment. Their injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
Police said the pair are known to each other and that they are not seeking anyone else in connection with the incident.
