Lots and lots of events are planned for the week all organised by local groups; Friday, June 16: A Family Quiz at St Mary's School 6.30 - 8pm, adults £2, children £1, hosted by St Mary's School Association. The popular Family Beetle Evening organised by the Guides is at the Mossman Centre 7 - 9pm, admission £1 including refreshments. The Fairfield Players present End of the Pier show at the Memorial Hall at 7.45pm, everything you would expect from the traditional seaside theatre! Contact Molly Stowell 01462 626169 for details Saturday, June 17: Jumble Sale at the Memorial Hall at 2pm in aid of Stotfold Mill. The End of the Pier show, second performance is at the Memorial Hall at 7.45pm. Sunday, June 18: Exhibition of photographs of Old Stotfold at the Memorial Hall 11am - 4.30pm, for details ring 01462 732604, admission to the exhibition is free. Monday, June 19: Little Saints Open Afternoon at St Mary's School Hall, 2 - 3.15pm,admission free. Short Mat Bowls Open Afternoon at the Memorial Hall, 2 - 4pm, all are welcome to call in for a game of bowls and a cup of tea. Kings Club Praise Party is at 6 - 7pm at the Church or The Green, admission free - all children are invited.The Fun Quiz organised by Stotfold Parents Association starts at 7.30pm at the Memorial Hall, teams of four invited, £5 per team, please ring 01462 730570 to enter, refreshments included. Please note - alcohol will not be allowed. Tuesday, June 20: The Mad Hatters Tea Party presented by Pippin preschool group at 11am at the Roecroft Centre, visitors welcome. Summerfield Nursery holds a Teddy Bears Picnic at the Scout Headquarters, £1 per child. The fun starts at 12.15pm please make sure all children take a teddy bear and a packed lunch, drinks available. The SMASH club open afternoon is from 3.45 - 5pm at the Stotfold Early years and Childcare Centre, admission free. At 7pm at the Salvation Army there is a sing along Sound of Music, admission free, collection for Watershe Wednesday, June 21: Poppies Nursery invites all preschool children to its Fun Open Morning, admission free. The Summer Concert given by the pupils of St Mary's School is at 2pm and 6pm, admission free, collection for Guide Dogs for the Blind. The Midsummer Meander with the Teasel Group is at 7.30pm meet at the Green, entry free, collection for Teasel funds. The Fashion Show and Hair Presentation organised by the Scout supporters and Hair by Phillip is at 7.30pm at the Memorial Hall, admission £3. Thursday, June 22: The Tiny Tots Open Afternoon takes place at King's Baptist Church, 1.30 - 3pm.A Roecroft School the Community Dance at 2pm, admission free. St Mary's Summer Concert is at 2pm and 6pm. Line Dancing starts at the Memorial Hall at 7pm led by Debbie and friends, admission £2.50 including a light supper. Friday, June 23: Mums and toddlers Open Morning at the Methodist Church 10 - 11.30am, admission free. At 7.30pm in the Memorial Hall there will be an evening of Christian Music given by Stotfold Christian Choir, admission free.
