Hundreds of visitors turned out for the Knebworth Festival of Transport yesterday (Sunday).

The show, held in the grounds of Knebworth House, featured a host of classic cars and motorcycles.

A spokesman for organisers Classicshows said: “This event started life as two entirely separate and successful events at Knebworth, one for classic cars and one for classic motorcycles. A couple of years ago we decided to consolidate the two events on Father’s Day to make one very large and impressive Festival of Transport. We had around 500 classic cars – American cars, customs, hot rods, Mini Coopers and VWs. There were some sport and kit cars, and military vehicles on display, all rounded off with an impressive turn out of classic motorcycles.”
