The highlight of the FSB's late spring calendar is the Curry Cobra night, sponsored by NatWest takes place at Stevenage Football Club on May 31. Around 130 businesses from across Hertfordshire will hear about the latest and envied FSB benefits. Karan Bilimoria, CEO of Cobra beer is the FSB's keynote speaker. He will explain how he has moved from brewing Cobra in a flat in Fulham to a now international brand. There will also be a special award for a special member, to recognise the outstanding achievements and growth of members the FSB has made. The event is free for members, £15 for guests and combined with collecting money for Breast and Prostate Cancer charities it has all the hallmarks of an evening with business pizzazz. The next meeting is Tuesday, June 6 at our popular new venue, the Bell in Codicote, close to Stevenage, Welwyn and J6 of the A1(M), from 7 pm. A nominal entry fee of £2 is charged. The guest speaker for June is a Police spokesman talking on business crime, a subject that concerns us all. Bring your business cards and leaflets, non members welcome. Please let Maree Atkinson know you are coming on 01462 451124, 077364 71568 or maree.atkinson@ntlworld.com or just come along.
