FEARNHILL School, Letchworth GC, were delighted with the A level results of their students. Two students, Jason Coxall and Rajiv Kuma each gained four A grades. Ten other students achieved three or more A or B grades.
Thrilled headteacher, Jed Whelan commented: "We are most pleased with the results. It demonstrates the constant improvements we are making at our school. The overall pass rate at A level was 98 per cent, with 40 per cent of the students obtaining A or B grades.
"We are delighted to share in the success of our students which has come as the result of support and guidance from staff and parents working together. The majority of our students have secured places at the universities of their choice and are looking forward to their new challenges."
Fearnhill and The Highfield work in partnership in the Letchworth Post 16 Consortium. A joint statement from both schools said: "The Consortium is pleased to acknowledge the continuing improved performance of its students in relation to A and AS level results.
