TWO men arrested in Spain in connection with the murder of a traveller have been revealed to be father and son.

The headless and handless body of 42-year-old John Finney was found dumped in Ickleford on March 14, two weeks after he had been abducted from his Mitsubishi Pajero vehicle in Park Farm, Northaw Road West, Potters Bar.

The two north London men aged 49 and 22, who were arrested in Marbella on May 1 in connection with the murder, remain in police custody in Spain.

A third man, 28-year-old Mark Curran from Barnet, has been charged with murder.

He has been remanded in custody to appear at St Albans Crown Court on Monday, May 19.

A post-mortem examination was unable to establish the cause of Mr Finney's death.
