A MAN was airlifted to hospital following a fall this morning (Monday).
Paramedics were called to Hatfield London Country Club in Essendon at 10.58am, to a report that a man had fallen through a loft hatch and was injured.
The 29-year-old man, believed to be from Stevenage, had sustained a pelvic and leg injury.
Helicopter paramedic, Mike Yeldham, attended the scene and said: "Due to the nature of the injuries the man had sustained, the best route to get him to hospital was by air.
"Following treatment and stabilisation by paramedics, emergency medical technicians and a doctor at the scene, the injured man was airlifted to the Princess Alexandra hospital in Harlow.
