On Thursday evening, May 25, Fairlands Valley Spartans, host the first mid week road race league fixture of the season. The event is based on the leisure facilities at John Henry Newman School with a route on the cycleways alongside Gunnels Wood Road, part of Six Hills Way, past the railway station, up Fairlands Way passing the swimming pool, along Verity Way and back down Martins Way to the school. The teams will be from Bishop's Stortford, Broxbourne, Fairlands Valley Spartans, Harlow, Herts Phoenix (Hertford/Welwyn Garden City), Royston and Shaftesbury Barnet Harriers.
