Boro got to the fourth round of the competition last year, when they were knocked out by Everton
Stevenage have been drawn at home to Maidstone United in the FA Cup.
The first round draw was made this evening, live on the BBC, with Boro set to host the Stones, who are through to this round for the first time since 1991, on the weekend of November 8-9.
Stevenage got to the fourth round of the competition last year where they were knocked out by Everton, losing 4-0.
