Has a complete modernisation of the sports and PE facilities ongoing at the moment, including changing rooms and gymnasium. Working with Sport England and Big Lottery Funding enables the facilities to become readily available to the local community outside the normal school day. For pupil safety parents are asked to not park on the zigzag areas outside the school on the main road. This not only causes a health and safety issue for the children and the Crossing Patrol Assistant, but the school has been asked to remind parents that it is also against the law and offenders face prosecution under the Highways Act.
