The Essex and Herts Air Ambulance Trust urgently needs volunteers to help at its shops in Hitchin and Royston and its donation drop-off point in Stevenage.

Jane Morton, the charity’s volunteer manager, said: “We could not do the work we do without the amazing support we get from volunteers.

“Our current volunteers do a fantastic job, but our shops really need more help.

“Volunteers play a vital role in helping us raise the money that enables us to carry out our life-saving work.

“As well as our shops, we need volunteers to look after collection tin rounds, help at fundraising events, assist with administrative tasks and give airbase tours.”

Volunteer Sharon Robinson said: “It is very rewarding knowing your time is such a help to the charity.”

Anyone interested in volunteering can pop into one of the charity’s shops and speak to the manager, or call Jane on 0345 2417 690 or email her at jane.morton@ehaat.org
