There is still time to enter the Sandy branch of the Leprosy Mission's spring quiz: Branch supporter Karen Watson has put together 125 questions on advertising slogans and jingles. Competition entry sheets are just £1 and can be obtained from Branch Secretary Colin Osborne at 2 Leeds Smith Drive or on 01767 682032. Closing date is March 12 and a first prize of £20 awaits the winner. On Monday, March 13 Branch Committee Member Elizabeth Adams will host a Video Evening about the Missions work in Bangladesh at her home at 12 Kestrel Way. The evening starts at 8pm and if you want to know more about the Leprosy Missions work you will be welcome. The video is about a young Bangladeshi woman, Banu and lasts 24 minutes and the evening will conclude with light refreshments. On Saturday, March 25 the Sandy Branch of TLM will join up once again with the Children's Society to run a Jumble Sale in St Swithun's Churchyard (or Rectory Room if wet) from 9.30am.
