Emergency crews including air ambulance rush to Stevenage 'concern for welfare' incident

Emergency crews including an air ambulance have rushed to Stevenage after concerns were raised over a man's welfare.

There are several police cars and ambulance vehicles in Silam Road, opposite the Brent Court tower block near the town centre gardens.

A police spokeswoman said the force had been called by the ambulance service at 2pm amid concerns for the man’s welfare.

Emergency crews remain at the scene.

The Comet is awaiting details from the ambulance service.
