AN emergency closure of the northbound A1(M) entry slip road at junction 8 Coreys Mill, Stevenage comes into operation this evening (Monday). Road users are advised of overnight closures of the slip road from 10pm to 6am from tonight to Saturday, June 13.
AN emergency closure of the northbound A1(M) entry slip road at junction 8 Coreys Mill, Stevenage comes into operation this evening (Monday).
Road users are advised of overnight closures of the slip road from 10pm to 6am from tonight to Saturday, June 13.
Drivers wishing to travel north from junction 8 will instead have to go south on the A1(M), exit at junction 7 Stevenage South and then return on the northbound side to reach junction 9 Letchworth Gate and beyond.
The closure is to enable the Highways Agency to carry out an examination of the motorway near Junction 8 following a recent incident.
