An eight-year-old boy who went missing from his home between Stotfold and Letchworth for about seven hours has been found safe and well following a police appeal to the public.
Zach Churchill was last seen leaving his home address in Dickens Boulevard, Fairfield Park, at about 11am.
Police reported him found at 6pm – less than half an hour after the appeal was made.
A post on the Bedfordshire Police Facebook page said: “Thank you all for sharing the post, we had over 1,300 shares in just 20 minutes which is incredible. Your help really does make a huge difference in cases such as this.”
