Stevenage have been drawn against Brighton & Hove Albion’s academy, Leyton Orient and Southend United in the EFL Trophy.
The draw for the competition, which was formerly known as the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy, saw Boro placed in the ‘South Section Two’ of the competition.
Boro have already met Brighton’s first team this summer, beating them 1-0 in a pre-season friendly, while they travel to Leyton Orient for their third match of the League Two season on August 16.
Each club will play each other once, with the dates and locations of the fixtures not yet released.
