THERE was plenty to smile about at Stratton Upper School in Biggleswade with more students passing A-levels than ever before.
Headteacher Neil Bramwell said: "More students, 123, have entered and passed exams than ever before and the majority have got their places at university.
"We are very pleased with the results, and they are an improvement on last year. We looked at the strength of the year group and we knew that to do as well as previous years would be a hard task so we are very proud of them and pleased for them."
Tom Richardson achieved three As and is going to Lancaster University to study physics. Catriona Curry secured two As and two Bs and is going to study English and German at Exeter University. Sophie Gray achieved three As and two Bs and is going to Loughborough University to study drama and English.
