DEMOLITION work on a school site has started.
Builders began tearing down buildings on the old Marriotts School site in Telford Avenue, Stevenage, on Monday ahead of the area being turned into an all-weather pitch and a car park with 119 spaces.
The work is expected to be completed in early August.
Students moved to Marriotts Lonsdale School, which backs on to the old site, in January.
