A total of 97 per cent of all candidates ended up with five grades A*-C or more and 19 students in the year group achieved seven or more grade A* or A.
Head Richard Palmer said: "Almost one in three students achieved at least five grades A* or A and almost three quarters of all grades were A*, A or B.
"All our students have worked very hard to get onto the courses they now wish to follow and we are very proud of them all.
