THE head of Sandy Upper School believes this year's A-level results could be a record best.
Students and staff at the school celebrated with an overall pass rate of 97 per cent.
Headteacher David Stevinson, who has been at the school a year, said the results are significantly better than last year and may even be the best yet.
High achiever Andrew Barrow secured As in chemistry, maths, physics and further maths and a distinction in advanced extension chemistry, and intends to study chemistry at Bath University.
Damaris Brown achieved As in history, English and business and a B in music.
