A ROBOT will be the star attraction at a specialist school’s first festival today (Saturday).

Titan the Robot, who has appeared on TV shows such as Big Brother and The Gadget Show, will be performing twice as part of the Da Vinci Studio School’s Science and Engineering Festival.

The event is free to attend and runs from 10am to 1pm at North Hertfordshire College’s Stevenage centre, with a chance to take part in science experiments.

Other attractions include Bridget, Astrium’s Mars Rover prototype self-navigation vehicle, a chewy gummy physics funfair and a balloon bar.

Free buses to the festival in Monkswood Way are running every 15 minutes from 9.30am to 1pm from Stevenage town centre bus station.

The Da Vinci Studio School opens at the college’s Stevenage centre in September, offering mainstream qualifications for young people aged 14 to 18 through enterprise projects and working with businesses in the area.
