EIGHT pupils at a Comet country school have passed GCSE maths three years early.
The Year 8 pupils at Etonbury Academy in Arlesey, all aged 12 or 13, rose to the challenge and achieved one A, four Bs and three Cs.
They worked hard over the course of 20 one-hour Friday afternoon lessons to prepare for the exam.
Ruth Murphy, their GCSE maths tutor, said: “I can only congratulate them and thank them for their efforts and for making myself and the whole of Etonbury Academy proud of them.”
