A PUBLIC meeting will be held today (Thursday) to discuss plans to open a free school.
The new school will be based over two sites - at the former Roecroft Lower School site in Stotfold and the existing Kingsland site in Houghton Regis.
The new facility will offer education for up to 140 pupils, whose needs are not being met in mainstream schools and who require extra personalised support to help them succeed.
The proposal for the new school has been developed by the 10 upper school headteachers in the area.
The meeting will be held today in the main hall at the St Mary’s Church of England Academy, Stotfold at 7.15pm.
