STUDENTS at Princess Helena College in Preston near Hitchin are celebrating their A-level exam results - with more girls than ever before gaining A grades.
Overall, 35 per cent of all A-levels taken were awarded an A, up 10 per cent on last year, and nearly 60 per cent were passed at A or B grade.
For the fourth year running there was a 100 per cent pass rate A-E in all subjects.
The school is particularly pleased that all girls who studied business achieved A grades and are going on to study business or management at undergraduate level.
In the creative and performing arts, 80 per cent of students passed with A grades.
