A HIGH proportion of students achieved A and B grades at a school in Stevenage.
One hundred and ninety pupils took GCSE exams at Nobel School and 56 per cent achieved five A*-C results with Richard Adams, Daniel Archer, Jack Sheahan, John Stephens and Claire Hopwood achieving A* and As.
Headteacher Alistair Craig said: "We congratulate these and all our other successful students on their results.
"We are very pleased that the GCSE results this year include some excellent outcomes for a significant number of students who have achieved high numbers of A* grades or strong A/B grades combinations.
"These successes are again testament to the considerable hard work and commitment from students, staff and parents.
