Wizards and mad scientists took over a school as education went spooky for Halloween.
Children at Leys Primary and Nursery School in Stevenage were given the Monster Mash treatment as their teachers transformed as part of a hocus pocus-themed weird science week.
Deputy headteacher Damien Johnston said the event was aimed at inspiring and engaging the pupils in scientific investigation.
“We have shared some fascinating tests and the children designed their own investigations – recording results and forming conclusions for what they have observed. This was practical, hands-on learning to inspire.”
