STUDENTS, staff and parents celebrated a record set of GCSE results at Knights Templar School in Baldock.
Overall, 76 per cent of pupils secured five grade A* to C, with 72 per cent achieving five or more grade A* to C including maths and English.
Twenty-seven students at the school celebrated nine or more A*s and As, with Isobel Talks proving the cream of the crop with 11 A*s and one A.
Headteacher Adrian Pickering said: "The school is delighted with its best ever set of GCSE results. We are very proud of the achievement of the students. Hard work from the students and staff, with support of parents, has paid off.
