Three Stevenage schools are shut today (Friday) because of dangerous conditions - giving pupils an early half-term.
Marriotts and Nobel secondary schools and Moss Bury Primary School were closed because of ice on site and approaches.
Staff at Ashtree Primary and Nursery School and Barnwell School delayed opening until late morning for snow and ice to be cleared.
