Students and staff at Hitchin Girls’ School are celebrating after being awarded Healthy Schools accreditation.
Areas of schools life that contribute to a healthy lifestyle such as physical education, mental health, extracurricular activities and pastoral support have been reviewed over the past year
Dawn Ferguson, Healthy Schools co-ordinator at Hitchin Girls’, said: “We are delighted to receive this accreditation. A healthy lifestyle and mindset is encouraged and supported throughout so many different aspects of the whole school curriculum.
“It is great that the well-being of the ‘whole’ person is key to everyday life here at Hitchin Girls’ School.”
