MORE than half the 121 A-level students at Hitchin Girls' School gained As or Bs.
It was above target, said headteacher Frances Manning. She added: "We are delighted with them, our students have performed well.
"It reflects the hard work of the students and staff here."
Eighty per cent of students notched up A to C grades. All those aiming to study medicine and veterinary science, or go on to Oxford or Cambridge got their places.
