Hitchin Girl’s School has achieved its best A-level results in 10 years.
With a pass rate at 99.5 per cent, 87.5 per cent of students achieved an A* to C grade in this year’s exams.
Headteacher Frances Manning said: “I’m really pleased. It is difficult to see it improve year on year and it has, so I’m really, really delighted.”
Top passes included 16 students with three A* passes, four with four A*s and one with five A*s.
Triplets at the school, Georgina, Kayleigh and Vicky Winter achieved 5 A*s, one A, two Bs and a C between them.
