Hitchin Boys School had their best GCSE results ever this year.
With 80 per cent of pupils getting 5 A* to C grades headteacher Keith Wadsworth said “by any criteria” it was the best results the school had ever had.
“Half the boys have got 10 or more A* to C passes and nearly three quarters have got at least one A or A* grade. One boy has got 15 A*’s. We are absolutely thrilled,” he said.
